Is the road paved into Polebride? We would like to ride our Harley over.?
Great place to stop for a beer.
Cute little saloon about 15 miles from the Canadian border. Great place to stop in after spending the day playing at Bowman Lake. Limited menu and beer selection during the Covid-19, but still a good spot. Enjoy a beer or a cocktail outside under the big tree.
MoreVisiting Montana for a week or so and took a day trip to Polebridge to experience the place. Had some lunch here, the tacos with an appetizer of chips and salsa. They were great along with a draft beer. Very reasonable prices and able to meet some folks from around the US.Our server, Norma, was wonderful and very friendly and shared info about the area. All in all, a nice relaxing day away. Make sure to visit the mercantile next door and have a great huckleberry bear claw and espresso!Indoor or outdoor seating and very clean. We were here during the day but they do have live entertainment in the evening, check their calender for that.
MoreGreat food and great atmosphere, highly recommend.
Tiny with a capital T! Good selection of everything you might want as well as an impressive little menu. Most people liked it outside but the bar was nice. Prices were not as high as I expected. Definitely worth the trip to Polebridge.
MoreGreat food, good selection of beer & awesome service.
Awesome little joint we ate at along our motorcycle ride
Great food and local beer. I got the Cobb salad and it was huge. Boyfriend enjoyed his burger and fries. Friendly staff and the place was clean. Wish other restaurants around GNP were this great. Priced a little expensive but I don’t mind when the food is actually good and made of quality ingredients.
MoreA real deal saloon with good food, too.
Can't speak for the food but this bar is awesome!! We found it incidentally while driving up North Fork and decided to check it out for a beer. Awesome atmosphere and incredible views that we will absolutely visit again when given the chance. If you have the opportunity to go, go!
MoreIt was a little slow because of the virus. Great sandwiches at the store. Definitely going back.
MoreOne of Americas greatest establishments.
Kitchen and staff unable to handle multiple orders without losing tickets during our visit. Avoid the overpriced bland trout with rice and veg.
MoreAbsolutely fantastic! Had the the grilled rainbow trout with vegetables and rice pilaf. Cooked to perfection. Seasonings were right on point. If it wasn't so far away and tough to get to, would go back tomorrow.
MoreMy family was vacationing in GNP and we had heard about this wonderful menu and decided to take the hour/hour-and-a-half drive to check out this amazing food...When we arrived we found that they had closed their kitchen and were only serving beer and pizza... Pizza they weren’t even cooking, they were ordering it from next door...The staff was also irritated at me that I was bothered by this or in the least bit inconvenienced... I was told “I’m sorry it didn’t work out for you...”I was annoyed by the drive but due to the customer service I definitely won’t be returning to Polebridge when back at Glacier. Upon reading past reviews it sounds that they have been disappointing the majority of their customers lately. We went to a restaurant down the road and they had run out of food. I assume because disappointed customers who didn’t want to eat pizza were going there.
MoreMy husband and I ate at the Northern Lights Saloon during a summer visit to Montana. There was a lot of outdoor seating, and some indoor seating as well. It is a very rustic place with a great little menu. The service was great and the food was delicious! We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Glacier National Park.
MoreHad an incredible time here! Elk meatloaf and delicious cocktails. The vibe is just so cool, a must visit for anyone going to glacier
MoreHidden place, Busy and nice outside area
What a surprise!! Ordered a Ribeye and it was absolutely delicious. My wife had a bison burger and loved it. Great service and experience.
MoreGreat service, food, and ambiance
Amazing gem! Don't miss out on this hidden treasure! Super warm and friendly place to chill and enjoy some of the best cocktails and food in beautiful glacier park. Can't wait to come back. Smoked ribs and brisket and breakfast you just can't beat! The atmosphere of the outdoors patio and inside lounge is beyond perfect. Applause to the owners for keeping it quaint, delicious, fun and welcoming :) just what we were looking for, we will be back.
MoreMy friend and I stopped here after a few days hiking through Glacier. The service and food were excellent. I believe our server's name was Emma, and she was really great. The food was served in generous portions, which was important because we were very hungry. It was pretty idyllic to watch the sunset over the Mountains around 9 or 10 as we sat and enjoyed some yummy food. Definitely check this spot out if you are in Polebridge for the evening.
MorePolebridge is a fantastic little mountain/camp town, and we were so lucky the rangers recommended this gem to us. Northern Lights Saloon added to the experience. The staff directed us to some camping areas leading us to the beautiful Bowman Lake and the surrounding areas and trails. The rest of the trip we were only half-joking when we'd say, "We should've just stayed around Polebridge and ended the day at Northern Lights." Definitely planning on returning for some delicious food and drinks along with wonderful people and views!
MoreGreat friendly place to stop and re5
We stayed in Polebridge for 3 nights and ate at the Northern Lights saloon twice. Once on Friday Pizza night and again with seared rainbow trout on Saturday. It was delicious and enough for two people. The beers are reasonable as well, $3 tall boy PBRs and Kokanees.
MoreLoved this place!!! We had drinks there and then came back later for dinner. Everyone was so friendly and hospitable and the food and drinks were absolutely delicious!!! My daughter was only 2 when we went and she had a blast. Can't wait to take her back when she's a little older. Hidden gem
MoreAmazing little restaurant good drinks and some of the best views anywhere in the world
MoreGreat gem off the grid out of the way. Beautiful views.
Good service and decent food.
We stopped by here after a hike at Bowman Lake. Great place to end the day. We had a large group and a dog. We easily got a table for our large group. They had live music with the mountains as a back drop-need I say more. Great beer selection, great food and friendly staff. There is a small volleyball court and swing and slide that the kids loved.
MoreAtmosphere was nice, service was excellent, food was decent. Potato "fries" we're amazing.
MoreGreat spot for a summer afternoon drive. No cell service, but that adds to experience (just download GPS navigation before you head out). Much of the road to this park entrance and Polebridge is unpaved, but it's a decent road. This frontier town has a mercantile and this Northern Lights Saloon. We spent the afternoon at the saloon having drinks and food. The bison burgers were excellent. Great staff and service, excellent outdoor spot that is perfect for families. Stunning views of the mountains, including Glacier National Park. Definitely recommend for those looking for a gem off the beaten path. Would love to go back and spend more time here.
MoreWhat a great little watering hole. Check it out if you pass buy.
We ate here twice during our June 2017 stay. Great food, friendly staff, yummy local brews & wonderful atmosphere! Our last night (of 3) in Polebridge a gentleman played the cello outside with the mountains behind him. Could have stayed there forever! We'll be back!
MoreNice, small, busy place. Especially when there is an event or live music, then it's really busy and fun.
